According to The Business Insider and FBI Statistics, here is the list of the Top 25 Most Dangerous Cities In America for violent crimes. See if Charlotte or any North or South Carolina cities made the list!
The cities on this list are ranked by violent crimes including murder, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault, per 100,000 people.

25.) Elizabeth New Jersey: 1,100 violent crimes and 601 robberies per 100,000 people (triple national average)
24.) Lansing, Michigan: 1,101 violent crimes and 86 forcible rapes per 100,000 people (double national average)
23.) Miami, Florida: 1,108 violent crimes and 421 robberies per 100,000 people
22.) Kansas City, Missouri: 1,126 violent crimes per 100,000 people
21.) Nashville, Tennessee: 1,128 violent crimes per 100,000 people with double the amount of foricible rapes as the national average
