R&B icon [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mary J. Blige[/lastfm] is the latest star to team with a Hollywood director for a special live webcast! Blige will perform live, part of the American Express Unstaged series.

Blige’s concert will be filmed and broadcast from Club Nokia in Los Angeles on November 17th. Blige is also slated to perform her 1994 breakthrough and landmark album “My Life” in its entirety.

She is also slated to perform selections from her new sequel to that record, “My Life II… The Journey”.

Blige is also set to be apart of the cinema arts. She will star in Shankman’s film version of the rock musical “Rock of Ages”.
