Read Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul’s statements about people not receiving federal money from FEMA and other organizations during national crisis’s. Do you agree?
“There is no such thing as federal money,” Paul said. “Federal money is just what they steal from the states and steal from you and me.” While there is a role for the National Guard in these sorts of disasters, according to Paul, the Federal Emergency Management Agency usually does little but frustrate people. “To say that any accident that happens in the country, send in FEMA, send in the money, the government has all this money—it is totally out of control, and it’s not efficient,”
Now, we all know that emergency aid does not mean just money. It means saving lives, giving medical aid, supplying food and water, getting utilities up and running etc. Let us know what you think in the Comment Section below.
