Have y’all heard? Beloved NC native and TV star, Andy Griffith has died at the age of 86.  Andy who was born in Mt. Airy, N.C., was famous for his iconic role as Sheriff Andy Taylor on “The Andy Griffith Show.”  Griffin went on to play other roles and he was also known for playing the title character on the legal drama, “Matlock.”  Mr. Griffin will be missed by many generations of loyal fans.
