The Sol Kitchen presents the ‘I Am Music Fest 2012′ at the Belk Theater August 10, 2012; featuring India Arie and Mint Condition.

Known for their diverse musical style, and their captivating live instrumentation, Mint Condition is one the last groups to posses the classic showmanship of Motown and other celebrated R&B originators.

These multi-talented artists promise to make the ‘I Am Music Fest’ a night to remember. Here are a my favorite Mint Condition songs/videos!

-Jennifer Hall, CBS Local

“Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)”

The second single from the group’s 1991 album Meant To Be Mint. The classic ballad rose to #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“What Kind of Man Would I Be”

This timeless 1996 hit pondered the consequences of having an affair. Eloquently written and masterfully produced; this is an easy favorite.

“Nothing Left ToSay”

This is a favorite from the group’s 2008 album E Life. The harmony in this mid-tempo song is so beautiful.

“Someone to Love”

From the Mint Factory brought us this early 90s hit.

“U Send Me Swingin”

Also manufactured at the Mint Factory, this classic ballad reached #2 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart.
