Yesterday, was World Humanitarian Day. In the midst of life-threatening conflict selfless workers step in and offer assistance. World Humanitarian Day is a global celebration of people helping people.
In honor of World Humanitarian Day, Beyoncé released a special video for “I Was Here.” The film originated from a partnership between the United Nations and the international star that highlights the compassionate work of many individuals from across the globe.
The emotional performance was shot in front of a live audience at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York City and features the singer in a breathtaking white gown against a backdrop of inspirational images.
