V101.9 and Power 98 are teaming up with Homeless Services Network for the 2nd annual “Umbrellas for the Homeless!”

We’re trying to collect umbrellas to provide to the homeless as they seek assistance from local agencies.  We collected over 800 umbrellas last year, and we’re aiming for 1,000 this year!

Come by the Homeless Resources Center on Tuesday, November 13th from 9 AM – 3 PM to drop off your umbrellas, or stop by our station at 1520 South Boulevard in Charlotte, NC in the weeks prior to drop off umbrellas and other toiletries.

The Homeless Resources Center is on 618 North College Street which is on the corner of N. College & 9th (behind Hal Marshall Center on N. Tryon).

You can also bring personal toiletry items and food which will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
